Anymore Advice?....

I am getting more anxious, excited and nervous as Eva's due date gets closer! I got some great advice from Amy Ricks and Ashton! Thank you so much you guys! More pregnant pictures!

We took more pictures because I thought I looked a little better today plus it was such a nice day and it looks pretty with the leaves changing colors. I don't think you can really see how big my belly is because of the way my shirt was hanging. We also got Billy in the picture this time. I haven't put Billy's picture up in a long time. I hope you guys enjoy them and are doing well! Oh yeah I also took a picture of the new frames we just got to put in her room! They are so cute and I can't wait to put her picture in them! Our walls have ugly spots on them because people that lived here before we did tried to cover up nail holes with a tan color instead of white (which is the color of our walls) and the ugly spots show up really good in our pictures so it makes her room not look as cute. Oh well, I'm just going to keep decorating it!

My big belly!

I forgot to take a picture of my big belly last week so I apologize! I am 37 weeks now. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning so hopefully I'll get some good news and find out everything is going well and moving right along. I'm going to have Billy take a few more pictures of my belly tomorrow too and hopefully we can find someone to take both of our pictures so Billy can be included. I don't think I've put hardly any pictures of him on our blog in a while. It's been getting colder here but nothing too bad...what do I know, I'm always hot. It's beautiful outside too so maybe we will take our pictures outside. It's prettier out there than in our apartment. I keep having those braxton hicks contractions and once in a while I have a real one that is pretty painful and long. I'm not looking forward to more of those. I look pretty bad and need to go to a salon soon! I just keep rambling now and I think it's because I haven't been getting a lot of sleep. Sorry about that! I hope everyone is doing well and I will update the blog some more tomorrow! I really miss and love you all!

Pictures of her room.....

We finally put stuff up in her room to make it look a little nicer for her. We aren't done there are a couple of really cute frames I want to hang in there too. My cousin Bretts wife Amy gave us these cute letters that spell out her name so I decided to paint them pink and we finally hung them on the wall. I'm so glad she gave us those! I have a friend that gave us the white storage hanging thing which is really cool and convenient to have! Our apartment is old and I hate that you can see where us or the people that lived here before us covered up nail holes. But oh well, it's big and cheap and that's good for us! Once we get everything cleaned and put together in her room I will take another picture of the final project! I can't wait to get it all done! Also, we got a couple more presents which was awesome! My Aunt Donna gave us alot of really great things like a swaddle wrap, diapers & wipes pod, a little comb and brush set, a cute pink crate so we can put her toys in and some avent pacifiers! She is so great! Also, Candy Wakamatsu gave us some baby tooth and gum cleanser, an oral care set and orajel! Thank you so much for all the wonderful things for Eva! I hope you all are doing well!

Counting down the days.....only 26 more!

I really hope that this last month goes by fast! My next doctor's appointment is Oct. 23 so hopefully he will have some good news for me.....like me dilating at least a little bit or something. Today I've been having alot of the Braxton Hicks contractions and they are not very comfortable but I'm pretty sure the real contractions are worse. We are hoping that Eva comes on time and isn't late....but we will see. So, we might not have alot of family out here when she's born but we do have some. We have Tommy & Kira, one of Billy's older half brothers and his family, Brett & Amy Ricks (my cousin), my friend Brittany (from Williamsburg), and a few more of our friends! It will be fun! Then my mom is coming out here from Nov. 12-21 and Bay comes out from Nov. 22-30. It will be nice to have some help for a little while! I just can't wait for our little family to grow! It's going to be so much fun having Eva and learning how to be good parents. It will be great for Billy and I to do this and to do this on our own. Billy is going to be a great dad and I can't wait to see him holding Eva for the first time! I will probably cry....alot! I just can't wait to be a mom! We still have so much to do and so much to get for her....it's just hard to get alot done with a big belly in the way. 36 weeks!

Yes I am 36 weeks now! I will not be surprised if I have her a little after her due date. The last 2 times I have been to the doctor he has told me that she is measuring out small and this last time I went he told me she was measuring out at 33 weeks but he said that my due date is still Nov. 7th so hopefully she will come then and not after. I'm just getting really impatient now because I'm just ready to see her and hold her! I just want to have my baby! But I don't want her to come too early. I'm having those braxton hicks contractions all the time and last time I went to the doctor he said I hadn't dilated at all yet. Oh well, maybe next time I go I will have dilated a lot...hehe! Also, I might have over did it yesterday. I went through and cleaned our whole apartment and went through and organized stuff and by the end of the day I wanted to cry because my back hurt so bad. Then when I woke up this morning my hands hurt. They have been sore and achy all day but they were only a little swollen. I'm assuming the circulation just isn't very good today or something. They are still hurting so I guess if they continue to hurt by Monday I'll call and ask a nurse what's going on.....I hope I'm not over reacting or being paranoid! Has this happened to anyone else? If it has please tell me what is going on! Well, I hope everyone is doing well! I love and miss you all!

Baby Shower!

So, I have a Wonderful sister in-law...Kira Jackson! She threw me a great baby shower today! I don't know very many people out here but we still had a great turn out! Kira decorated and had us play some really fun games....one was a memory match game which was a lot of fun and another one was a really fun game where she put us on 2 teams and each person had close their eyes or use a blind fold and dig around a bowl of rice and get out as many tiny safety pins as they could. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be because it all felt the same. Our team won with no help from me....I only got 3 pins out but everyone else did awesome and got a ton of pins. She also had cute pink cards for people to leave me advice and a fun cross-word puzzle to do! The food was great too! Her Aunt made some really good home made chicken salad....I probably could have eaten about 10 of them! Everyone got me some great gifts for Eva! Kira, her sister, her Aunt & her mom got me diapers, wipes and a cute, purple Bumbo seat! I got lot's of cute onesies, outfits, sleepers, toys, caps, health care items, a gift card and a fold up bath tub! My cousin Amy Ricks got us a kit so we can have Eva's handprint forever, cute onesies and letters to hang on her wall that spell out her name! It was great! Thank you everyone that came and Thank you for my gifts! And a huge THANK YOU to Kira for throwing me this awesome baby shower! I didn't think I could get more excited about having Eva than I already was but this just made more excited!

Me at 35 weeks pregnant!

Hey everyone! So we finally took another picture of my belly. I am 35 weeks pregnant! It's getting so close to my due date....I can't wait! Eva is kicking me all the time and keeping me nice and uncomfortable too. I can't wait to see her and hold her. Billy put her car seat in the car yesterday so that was exciting! We are almost done cleaning up her room....we still don't have it decorated though but I guess it's more important that it's clean and ready for her than if we have it decorated right now. I hope everyone is enjoying the online baby shower Amy is hosting for me! Don't forget she is going to give prizes out to the winners of the games. Cute frame....

Okay I went to Babys R Us yesterday to get our neighbor a gift because her baby shower is today. While I was there I just happened to come across a very cute frame. It is an ultrasound frame that is white with pink baby feet on it and it says watching you grow....loving you so! We put the ultrasound picture of Eva's little nose and lips in it. We never got a full body ultrasound picture because she has never been in the right position to do so. Oh well.....it's still so cute and I love it! Hope everyone is doing well!

How Exciting!

We got some packages this past week from Babys R Us and we were so excited! We got a baby bath, baby wash, a faucet protection, swaddle wrap, burp cloths and receiving blankets....all from Aunt Luana! It was so nice of her to get us all of these cute baby items! We really Appreciate them! We also got a very cute diaper bag that matches perfectly with our infant carrier and stroller from Alison! It has two side pockets that are insulated for bottles and a changing pad with pockets to put diapers and wipes! We absolutely love it all! We got some adorable socks from my cousin Julian! They are so cute! Billy's mom got Eva some cute little boots and my mom got her some cute little sneakers and head bands and Amy made her a couple of cute little bracelets and I got her some cute little shoes from China Town in San Fran., CA! They are all so adorable! We are really excited about getting all of these things and really Appreciate it! I can't wait for baby Eva to use them! I've already washed everything so they are ready for her to use! Thank you so much you guys! We love you all and miss you!

Being Pregnant....

Being pregnant is CRAZY & AMAZING! I'm at the point where I don't ever sleep because I can't get comfortable, I have bad indigestion and I can't breath very well. I'm also having those Braxton Hicks contractions. It's really great when I can feel her move and hiccup. I just don't like it when she moves into my rib cage and it becomes pretty sore. Okay, I will stop the complaining because being pregnant is an amazing experience too. We are taking a prenatal class on Monday nights at the hospital I will be delivering Eva at. It's a really great class, we are learning so much! Last Monday they gave us a tour of the hospital which was really nice because now we know where to go when I'm in labor. The labor/delivery room is really big and nice. They said that I will stay in there 1-2 hours and they like for the baby to try and nurse within that first hour. Then I will be moved to another floor for the rest of the time at the hospital. Billy will get to video tape them giving Eva her first bath which is pretty exciting! We got to walk by the nursery and see a few newborns and they were so cute! After our tour we watched a video of 4 women giving birth. It was very interesting. We were grossed out but now I know what will be going on down there even though I am still scared to give birth. Well, I can't wait to have Eva and hold her! It will be an exciting day!

Her name is.....

Yay! We finally picked a name for our little girl! Her name is Eva Corrine Jackson! We don't have to call her baby anymore! I'm so happy we finally agreed on one! I was getting a little worried the other day because I told Billy we really need to start narrowing names down so we can pick one and instead of picking one we added another one. We then put them in order from what we like the most to the least...it went like this: Eva Corrine Jackson, Sara Lynn Jackson or Christine Ann Jackson. After we put them in order we still had not confirmed a name. Billy went over to Tommy & Kira's apartment to print something off and apparently told them that we had decided on a name which was Eva Corrine Jackson. I had no idea that we had made it official until we were talking today and decided to name her Eva. I was talking to Kira on the phone earlier and was so excited to tell her the name we had picked and she had informed me that Billy already told them like a week ago what her name was. So apparently she has had a name for a week and I didn't know.....hahaha! Oh well, at least we are all on the same page now! I can't wait to have baby Eva!Love,Morgan, Billy & Eva Jackson!

Our Crib and Crib bedding!

I finally took a picture of the crib and the bedding! We got the crib & mattress off of craigslist for $65 and the crib bedding off of ebay for $50. The crib bedding came as a 7 piece set! I really like it! It's a little wrinkled still but it says you can't iron it....so if anyone has any suggestions on how I can get the wrinkles out that would be great! It's so much fun getting baby stuff! I can't wait until her room is completely set up! I hope everyone is doing well!

I'm gettin bigger Ya'll!! Me at 31 weeks, well I'll be 32 weeks this Friday!

Okay I finally took another picture, sorry I am so bad at doing this. I look pretty bad but sexy...haha! I decided to wear a tight shirt this time so everyone can really see my belly! A lot of people tell me that my belly looks small and maybe it is compared to some people but it sure doesn't feel small or comfortable. So 9 months is a long time! It seems like these last 2 months are going by slow because I want them to go by fast! People aren't lying when they say that the last trimester you are just tired, uncomfortable and you have really bad indigestion. I love it when my baby moves but man she sure picks some bad times to start moving a lot. Our bed looks so funny now because I have all of these pillows around me and under me. I also keep the air conditioning on 62 degrees at night because I get so hot and poor Billy is sleeping in sweat pants. She likes to move into my rib cage and really far on my sides. She also enjoys pushing on my bladder. Billy likes to play with her already. If she pokes me he likes to poke my belly to see if she will poke back and surprisingly sometimes she does, it's fun! I could definitely do without the indigestion and acid reflux. I just can't wait to see her! We are taking a prenatal class because this is our first child and we would like to know what we are doing. Our class is every Monday night from 7-9:30pm at the hospital we will be delivering at for four weeks. Our first class was this past Monday (9-8-08) but we didn't make it. I woke up throwing up and other things.... so we tried to make up the class by going to another one Tuesday night and I of course got sick again and was in and out and we ended up leaving early. We really liked the class and learned a lot while we were there. We also missed a lot of it. Hopefully next Monday will go better! Well, being pregnant is a wonderful thing even though us women have to go through a lot to have a baby I must say it will be well worth it!

Fun Stuff!

So, we were getting a little worried because I was heading into my last trimester and we still didn't have anything for our baby. Well, when Billy's mom came out for his graduation me, her and Kira went to Babysrus and she got us an awesome pack n play, infant carrier, some night gowns, a snuzzler (to keep our little girl in the right position when she's sitting in a stroller, car seat, etc.) and a bundle me (to keep her warm)! It was so great! Then I was talking to Amy on the phone one night while we were both looking at my baby registries and next thing I know Amy bought us the awesome stroller we wanted (that matches the infant carrier), a pack of diapers, wipes and an adorable swing! I could not believe it! We love everything we got and really Appreciate it! Thank you so much Bay, Amy & Corey! We are so excited to put our little baby girl in her new things! I also took a picture of some things we got for the baby and some things my mom, Bay and Amy got as well! Amy made a couple of really cute baby bracelets, my mom got her some cute little sneakers and a sleeper, we got her a couple of little outfits and some adorable pink corduroy pants and Bay got her some super cute socks, shoes, night gowns, an adorable dress, jacket and a really soft lion blanket/toy! We still need a lot more things but at least we got almost all of the big things out of the way! We are so excited! Thank you mom, Amy & Bay! Love you all!

Me 28 weeks along!

Okay so we took some pictures of me at Billy's Graduation. In one of the pictures I am not ready for it but it's a good close up of my belly! His graduation was great by the way but the chairs were so uncomfortable! Yeah, my lower back and butt bone is always sore and uncomfortable no matter what I do. I guess that's just part of being pregnant! At least I get a baby after this! YAY!

So busy & tired! Me at 26 Weeks!

Well, the summer is almost over and part of me is kind of glad because that means it's getting closer to November! Billy is graduating on August 15 which is very Exciting and a relief! He will still have 2 more political science classes to take in the fall which stinks. He will also continue to study like crazy for the LSAT. He takes the LSAT October 4 and I can't wait for that to be over with! Then our baby comes! I can't wait to have our little girl! It's hard not to buy a lot of clothes for her because there are so many cute clothes out there. I've done really well though, I haven't bought hardly anything. My mother in-law sent us some really cute clothes and so did Amy! So that was very exciting! My belly is getting bigger and it itches too which is not fun. I'm kind of at the awkward stage where I can't get very comfortable ever! I never get any sleep but I guess I won't be getting any sleep ever again. I still have to take classes in the fall so that stinks. I can't wait to be finished with school! Well I am officially 26 weeks pregnant! We feel her moving a lot and it is such a wonderful feeling. Unless she's pushing on my bladder, kidneys, or rib cage. Billy thinks it's so cool when he puts his hand on my belly and she moves around. Well, I hope everyone is doing well! It's a GIRL!!!

That's right we are definitely having a girl! We had our ultrasound yesterday and got to see her little arms and legs. It was so cute because they were both crossed. She moved around a lot! The technician couldn't get a full body picture because she was upside down and wouldn't change positions. But we did get a picture of her little nose & lips & a footprint & her arms. We also got a picture showing that she is definitely a girl. Our due date is November 7, 2008!! We were so surprised when the technician said we are having a girl. Us and everyone else thought we were definitely having a boy. We are so excited! Billy's face was so cute when we found out we're having a girl. I was so shocked. I bought her a couple of body suits, a cap and booties! They're so cute! I found so much stuff I wanted to get but I decided to wait. I'm Pregnant!

Hey Everyone! So most of you already know that I am pregnant. I am 15-16 weeks along. It's been pretty ruff so far because I've been sick but I feel better every time we go to the doctors office and see the baby on the ultrasounds. We are so excited and can't wait to find out what we are having! We go back to the doctors office June 24 and that is when we have our big ultrasound. We are going to be doing a lot of traveling this summer so hopefully I will start feeling better soon! I can't wait till November when the baby is born so we can see him or her!
